Bismillahi-r-Rahmani-r-Rahim - In the name of Allah, The Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. SubhanAllah I can’t believe we have approached the last ten days and nights of Ramadan. Every year, I always say that Ramadan comes and goes so quickly but this year especially, it feels like Ramadan has zoomed past us. As we have come to the last third of this beautiful month of Mercy and the month of Qur’an. The month that when Allah spoke of, He followed with reminding us that He is near and responds to the prayer of the one who calls on Him [Qur’an 2:185-186].

We have come to the last ten nights in which there is Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Decree). The night that Allah says is better than a thousand months. The night in which the angels and the angel Gabriel descend by Allah’s permission. The night that is filled with peace until the break of dawn. Allahu Akbar - Allah is truly the Greatest. Alhadulillah for allowing us to get this far. May Allah allow us to witness and observe Laylatul Qadr.

My du’a today - Ya Allah, Ya Rahman, Ya Haqq You are Truth and Your word is true, Your Qur’an is the clear truth and You are the Most Truthful of those who speak. Keep me upon the truth. It is You I worship and is You I seek hrlp from. All Praise and Thanks belong to You Ya Allah. Ya Hadi, I seek Your Help and I seek Your Guidance. Ya Ghafur, Ya Tawwab, forgive me for my shortcomings and accept my repentance to You. Ya Rabb, as we enter the last 10 blessed days and nights of Your month, I hasten to You in worship and in servitude hoping for Your Mercy Ya Rahman and seeking refuge in You from Your punishment and the punishment of the hellfire.

Ya Allah, Ya Shakur, to You is all Praise and Thanks for Islam, for guidance and for the Qur’an. Ya Hafidh, choose me for the Qur’an, and ease the path to it for me. Ya Rahman by Your Mercy, increase my desire for the Qur’an and make it a light for my sight, a cure for my chest and what it contains. Ya Rabb, beautify my tongue with it, decorate my face with it’s beauty and perfect my voice with it. Ya Qawiyy, increase my body in strength with it and bless me with the rizq to recite it with submission to You throughout the night and in the day.

Ya Allah Ya Rabb, there is none worthy of worship except You, The Almighty, The Exalted. Ya Quddus, purify my heart and my deeds. Accept them and make me sincere in my worship. Ya Allah soften my heart and make it sensitive and submissive to Your reminders. Ya Allah make me among the khashi’un, of those who are meek and inhumble devotion to You. Ya Wadud, grant me Your Love, and the love of those who love You and the love of deed that bring me closer to You. Ya Rabb place in my heart the love of the Qur’an and the love of Your beloved messenger ﷺ . Allahumma Salli ‘ala sayyidina Muhammad - O Allah send Your peace and blessing upon our teacher Muhammad. Ya Rabb send Your peace and blessing upon His family and his companions.

Ya Allah gran me closeness to You. Ya Rabb I seek Your allyship and Your Companionship. Ya Allah ask You for good in this world and good in the hereafter and protection from the punishment of the hellfire. Ya Rabb accept from me my fast, accept from me my du’a, accept from me my completion of the Qur’an, accept from me my standing in prayer, my giving of charity and my sincere intention to earn Your Mercy Ya Rabb.

Ya Allah forgive all the muslims who have passed away, those who testified to Your Oneness, and to Your prophet of his message, and died upon that. Ya Rabb forgive them and have mercy on them. Expad their grves and increase it in Your light. Ya Rabb gather us with them in the highest of Jannah with Your beloved prophet ﷺ. Ya Allah grant us good opening and good ending. Ya Rabb do not take us back until You are pleased with us.

Ya Allah Ya Jabbar, be with the weak and oppressed in Gaza, Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Congo, Somalia, India, Yemen, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Burma, China. Ya Rabb grant relief to our brothers and sisters facing oppression in every corner of the earth, from the east to the west, from the noth to the south. Ya Allah preserve and protect the holy places of the muslims. Ya Allah preserve and protect the masjid Al-Aqsa from the forceful occupiers. Allah return masjid Al-Aqsa to the hands and care of the muslims. Ya Allah grant us a prayer in it before we pass away, O most Great and Powerful himself, O lord of all heavens.

Ya Rabb, grant us Laylatul Qadr and allow us to witness another Ramadan again. ya Rabb I ask of You with each of Your beautiful Names and Attributes, the one You taught us and made k known to us and the ones You have kept to Yourself. Make us among those who have earned Your mercy for You are the Most Merciful of those who show Mercy. Allahumma Amin ya Rabb
