Dear heart,

It is no news to you that we’ve been on a journey of seeking Allah for what seems like decades. I walk this path slowly but steadily like a Bedouin taking steps in a vast desert.

Dear heart, the land I walk on towards Allah seems to stretch further and further with each step I take. Dearest heart, what can I do to deepen my connection to Allah?

O yearning soul, you would know that Allah never did move from you. He ﷻ is closer to you than your jugular vein. O seeking soul, all you need to do is call upon Him, the Most Merciful, seeking His guidance.

The stretch of land you tread is covered in dunes of sand, that blur your vision as you kick up a dust storm in your path. Dear soul call upon Him and seek His light, ask Him to clear your vision, to settle the dust in your path.

Dearest soul, bask in your yearning for Him for in it is where you find nearness to Him, in it is where you deepen your connection. I pray may Allah allow you closeness and nearness to Him and May He As-Salam cover your heart in His tranquility. Allahumma Amin
