Ramadan Day 12 - “There is No Moving Creature on Earth whose Provision is not Guaranteed by Allah”

April 3, 2023

“Allah knows best.” “And Allah only wants good for you.” “With hardship comes ease” “endure with beautiful patience.”

These were the reminders that moistened my lips as I repeated them many times to myself throughout the day. Perhaps it be cemented in my heart. That even in what seems like a trial, there’s ease and that there is a reward for my perseverance.

I am grateful for the hardships that bring me closer to my Lord. The types of nearness that comes with exercising a beautiful patience and perseverance. He is Al- ‘Alim (All-Knowing); As-Sam’i (All-Hearing) and Al-Basir (All-Seeing). He is very much aware of me. He hears and He sees.

“There is no moving creature on earth whose provision is not guaranteed by Allah. And He knows where it lives and where it is laid to rest. All is ˹written˺ in a perfect Record.” [11:6]

“I have put my trust in Allah—my Lord and your Lord. There is no living creature that is not completely under His control. Surely my Lord’s Way is perfect justice.” [11:56]

“And be patient! Certainly Allah does not discount the reward of the good-doers.” [11:115]

حسبي الله و نعم الوکیل نعم المولی و نعم النصیر

Allah is sufficient for me. And He is the best disposer of my affairs. The Best to Protect. The Best to Help.

I pray may I always see the gifts in the hardships and I pray may Allah make me of those who bear with beautiful patience. But most importantly I pray may He grant me the reward and rank that others achieve through hardships without the hardships. Amin ya Rabb

With love,
Ibtisam
